TODAY’S BLOCKBUSTER QUOTE
Black Panther
“Just because something works doesn’t mean that it cannot be improved.”
Shuri · Letitia Wright
Why today
31 October is Letitia Wright’s birthday. In Black Panther, Wright plays Shuri, T’Challa’s younger sister and Wakanda’s brilliant inventor. When T’Challa says her EMP beads already worked perfectly, Shuri replies with the line that neatly captures her whole approach: “Just because something works doesn’t mean that it cannot be improved.”
Apparently ‘good enough’ was not invited.
